WAidid has signed a new agreement for scientific collaboration with the ASSMI (Society of Medical Microbiology and Immunology) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Professor Susanna Esposito, president WAidid, and Professor Zakir Garajev, Director of Microbiology and Immunology Department of the Azerbaijan Medical University, met yesterday in Baku and subscribed the agreement, which aims to promote initiatives that enhance scientific research and training of physicians in the field of infectious diseases and immune disorders, and to raise awareness about these diseases, which are still widespread in both countries.
