HIV in adolescents is quite a serious problem, explains Professor Guido Castelli Gattinara. HIV is now considered a sort of 'normal' disease, not a 'special' disease, because adolescents can have a normal life and sexual intercourse. It is important, however, to explain - underlines Gattinara - the importance of protecting themselves using condoms and follow the treatment, that is also related to the lack of transmission.
