Professor Tina Tan speaks about the pertussis, a preventable vaccine disease that affects people of all ages and economic classes. In the last several decades there's been a major increase of the disease occurring in adolescents and adults, with a high risk of morbidity and mortality. Professor Tan underlines the importance of immunization for infants, adolescents and adults, and, at the same time, the importance of maternal immunization.
